Dr Micole Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
Following graduation, Dr Lim has gained broad clinical experience across both community and specialist dental settings. She has worked in SingHealth Polyclinics, Student Dental Centre at the Health Promotion Board, as well as School Dental Services. She has also gained experience at the National Dental Centre Singapore, where she was exposed to Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Prosthodontics.
Her clinical interests include general restorative dentistry, crowns, dentures and periodontal care. She is comfortable treating patients of all ages, including children as young as preschoolers.
Dr Micole Lim believes in taking the time to understand her patients’ concerns and explain treatment options clearly, so that they can make informed decisions about their oral health. She adopts a reassuring and empathetic approach, particularly towards patients who may feel anxious about dental treatment. Having undergone several dental procedures herself from a young age, she understands firsthand the apprehension that can accompany a visit to the dentist and strives to make each patient feel comfortable and well-supported throughout their treatment.
She believes that good dentistry extends beyond treating dental problems and places importance on building long-term relationships with her patients through open communication, trust and personalised care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Lim enjoys keeping active at the gym, playing frisbee on the weekends, and exploring different parts of the world.
