Dr Lau Zi Jia graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
Upon graduation, she worked in various health institutions, including National Healthcare Group Polyclinics (NHGP), Health Promotion Board (HPB), National University Centre for Oral Health Singapore (NUCOHS), Institute of Mental Health (IMH) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).
During her career in public healthcare, she had the opportunity to provide dental care to a variety of patients, from different age groups. Working in these health institutions allowed her to gain valuable experience in managing a wide range of complex dental cases, further honing her skills in advanced general dentistry. She was also a recipient of the Incredible Care Service Award in NUCOHS.
Having had a fear of dentists as a child, Dr Zi Jia empathises with her patients and is committed to creating a positive dental experience for all her patients.
Outside of work, Dr Zi Jia enjoys barre, coffee, and is always on a hunt for good food.
