Dr Claire Eio graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Following her graduation, she began her career at Health Promotion Board, providing dental care to paediatric patients of various ages and backgrounds. Dr Eio further advanced her skills at SingHealth Polyclinics and subsequently joined Changi General Hospital in an Advanced General Dentistry posting where she primarily treated medically complex and geriatric patients. Notably, she was also the Dental Officer-in-Charge in the Singapore Armed Forces where she was tasked with treating patients, training dental assistants and clinic management.
Growing up enjoying visits to the dentist, Dr Eio strives to ensure an enjoyable and stress-free experience for all her patients. She is a strong advocate of preventive dentistry and aims to craft a holistic treatment plan tailored to each patient’s needs.
Her wide array of experience in various institutions with patients from all walks of life has provided her with the exposure to a wide range of dental procedures and has fueled her passion for working with children and the elderly. Dr Eio is committed to upgrading her skills and keeps abreast with latest advancements so as to provide the best care possible to her patients.
Outside of dentistry, she can often be found attending spin classes for that endorphin high or doing some quiet reading at a cafe. She is a coffee enthusiast and enjoys everything about it – from brewing her own coffee to honing her latte art skills. She also loves cooking and experimenting with new flavors using herbs grown from her indoor smart garden.
