Dr Shanise graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2020. In her final year, she was selected as a student volunteer in an outreach program to Cambodia, where her team treated underserved kids alongside the local dental students.
Following graduation, she joined a residency program at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn where she honed her clinical skills alongside a multidisciplinary team in a General Practice Residency (GPR) program. There, she became adept at diagnosing and treating emergency and trauma cases, as well as managing general and special needs patients in the various dental disciplines: endodontics, pediatrics, periodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral pathology, and dental anesthesiology.
Dr Shanise is a firm believer in treating her patients with utmost care, sincerity and thoroughness. In her free time, you can find her practicing yoga, hiking with her dog Lulu, snapping pictures, exploring cafés and restaurants, and trying out new cooking and baking recipes.
