Dr Joanna Ang is passionate about helping people achieve healthy, confident smiles and good dental care. She strongly believes in the power of education—not just for herself, but also for her patients—to prevent dental problems before they arise.
In 1996, Dr Ang graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. After gaining experience in school dental clinics, polyclinics, and the National Dental Centre, she moved into private practice in 1998 and later founded Eastwood DentalCare in 2001.
With over two decades of experience, Dr Ang remains deeply committed to ongoing learning so she can offer the effective dental care for her patients. She takes time to understand each patient’s unique needs and is known for creating a calm, welcoming environment that puts even the most anxious patients at ease.
Dr Ang’s vast experience and training make her skilled in managing more complex dental cases with care. To stay current in her field, she regularly attends dental conferences, courses, and seminars, and keeps up with the latest in dental research and innovation.
In 2025, Eastwood DentalCare became part of Royce Dental Group. Despite this transition, Dr Ang continues to put her patients first, ensuring their care remains seamless and personal. She still welcomes patients at the same Eastwood Centre clinic, where her commitment to her patients remains unchanged.
